Kathy Griffin may have gotten herself banned for life from CNN.

The outpsoken comedian uttered several controversial remarks while hosting the news network’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper – and the station is not happy.

“She was a total embarrassment to the network that calls themselves ‘The Most Trusted Name in News.’ Even Anderson (Cooper, her co-host) thinks it’s time to say goodbye to Kathy,” a CNN insider told .

Griffin joked about cocaine, masturbation, and dropped the “F-bomb” for the second time on live TV.

Whether or not Griffin will return to CNN is still up in the air. A network publicist told the website “No decisions have been made yet regarding next year’s show.”

On New Year’s Day, the network said in a statement that it “regrets that profanity was used during our New Year’s Eve coverage.”

Next up, Griffin has a guest-starring role on the February 6th episode of NBC’s ‘Law & Order: SVU.’ Never to back down from an opportunity to crack a joke, yesterday she Tweeted “Today was my 1st day of filming SVU. Why does Chris Meloni keep offering me lube?”
